Remains
Holotype (MNA V3222): a crushed snout with upper dentition, left dentary, and associated postcranial remains, mostly still in concretions.

Referred materials: MCZ 8830 (49/78A) (a crushed snout with upper dentition and associated indeterminate fragments), MCZ 8831 (91/78A) (a skull lacking anterior end of the snout and zygomatic arches, tooth-bearing ramus of right dentary, symphyseal portions of two left dentaries, and associated fragments of bone), MCZ 8836 (68/78A) (a fragmentary left dentary, left premaxilla with I1-2, right I2, fragment of right maxilla with two teeth, anterior portion of left jugal, and numerous indeterminate fragments), MNA V3223 (30/78A) (a nearly complete but poorly preserved skull).
Age and Distribution
Horizon: Kayenta Formation. Lower Jurassic (Late Sinemurian-Early Plienbaschian).

Locality: Gold Spring, Coconino county, Arizona.
